Decades Of Government Subsidies Have Helped Shale Gas

$100M in research and $10B in tax breaks.

The point being that government incentives can drive technologies.  In this case, a technology that cries out to be outdated by something else less polluting.  Republicans don't seem to understand any of this....the role of government, global warming, science......
