Gawd-awful!
If the Fukushima people were fearful, than that was a failure with the Emergency Planning & Response of the utility and Japanese government. Cuttler says early radiologists lived longer, but they were the group in which we initially found increased leukemia. This was our first hint that other cancers might also develop. When radiology patients were studied we found an increase risk of cancer in them, for example increases in thyroid cancer in people treated for thymic enlargement.
Radiation damage is different than oxidative damage and the repair mechanisms are very error prone. Most of the oxidative damage occurs in the mitochondria, whereas the critical radiation damage occurs in the nucleus.
Cuttler employs the tired old propaganda and mistakes described within the papers linked to in my new webpage, "Hormesis - Ideological Toxicology", see right hand side of this webpage.
Cuttler says, "there's no risk, there's only benefit".
But he provides no evidence.
He does say that's his story and he's sticking to it.
BINGO.
