I can't embed the video, it's here.
Think of a cult which ridicules the larger society, heaps praises on its preachers, and refuses to engage in objective debate with the larger society.
You gotta love the the mention of Eisenhower's dig at the scientific-technological elite. Yeah, because all those scientists are driving Porsches back and forth between their mansions and their luxurious offices.
Damn them!
Hey, Michaels...the best, most famous scientists shift the scientific consensus not follow it. Those are the ones who win Nobel Prizes which today includes over a $1,000,000 award. If you have evidence to shift the scientific consensus, publish it and win a Nobel. Oh wait, you don't? It's easier to spread propaganda?
I gotcha.
It's hilarious. He tries to make the point that Obama's approval rating is related to cap and trade and carbon regulation and politicians read these numbers "before they pee in the morning". Yet, Obama publicly went very publicly after carbon (not as strongly as many want) just yesterday! Maybe he didn't urinate all day.
He shows U.S. atmospheric change anomalies over the last 20 years but fails to mention ocean warming (the excess heat doesn't have to go into the atmosphere, it only has to go to a heat sink).
Oh Jeebsus....he shows 2 photos in which herbicides lose their effectiveness at higher CO2 concentrations. Then he counters that fact with "do we grow weeds as a crop?". No, moron we don't...weeds infest the crops we grow and we use herbicides to control them. If the herbicides lose their effectiveness at higher CO2 concentrations then that will affect the crops we do grow as crops.
If you go to the Heartland's Institute YouTube channel you can find more sermons, though I don't know why you'd want you.
