Thanks for the link, amazing! For the record, here is a Japanese article with more rad safety details: 1 becquerel per liter (137-Cs?) in water, and 0.8 microsieverts per hour on the beach. Doesn't seem too bad. Another link provides 137-Cs data for the sand of another beach in Iwaki. It seems possible it could actually be another denomination for the same beach.
